As the above what scary moments you had in the snow/ice ?.

Mine was about half an hou ago on my bike with a friend.
We was riding our bike's we wanted to go oppiste side of the road so we said lets go down subway so we rode down the slipway skidding on our bikes as you do and i was infront so i went to actually go under subway and as i got to the bottom of slipway it was sheet ice which i didnt ealise because it was dark and it had bottle and that on it so my bike just went from underneath me and the ice cracked and it was water and it came upto just over my knee's i absolutely **** myself.just to top it off i had new £80 trainers on swede ones aswell.

On the way to my brothers today we stopped in the snow then some MNR wannabe jacked us up! No damage to the car or us though. ;D

reversing my grandads truck back into the garage....sheet ice slmost had me and the truck down the bottom of a VERY steep hill.... its fair to say i was shaking after the incident!

girlfriend driving down road, during the first MASSIVE fall of snow, got to end of her road, some idiot in a van can round corner from nowhere too fast and just stopped in middle of road, he was going uphill so stopped quickly, we was downhill and car just slid on the fresh snow. luckily her car stopped CM'S away from the van and she was able to reverse and pull away. i was scared for her mainly as she aint very experianced in the snow and she jus panicked and almost totalled her car. Which is bad considering she on her last year at uni and rely's on her car getting her to uni in bognor and to her school placement.

i'm lucky to say i havnt had any scary moments...well yet that is!

At college over the past few days massive lupms of ice were falling off the roof of the buildings as it was thawing out, a big bit almost hit this girl square on the top of the head, had everyone a bit shaken to say the least, if it would have hit her she would have been killed i think, it came down with such force it was unreal!

Parked on a steep icy slope, handbrake applied, got out of the car then noticed the car was slipping down the slope. Quickly got back in the car and took me 10 minutes and alot of wheelspin to get the car to a safer place to park.
